From Napier. Joined the RNZAF 7th of February 1942. Invalided out August the 6th 1945.
Instructor Ashburton 18 months ( on Tiger Moths )
Converted to P40s Ohakea moved up to Southwest Pacific with 21 Squadron,
flying P40s ( Bougainville, Guadalcanal, and Green Island( in the Nisson Group)

Back to RNZAF Station ARDMORE converting to Corsairs,
then back up to the South West Pacific again with
No 21 Squadron.Operating around Guadalcanal , Bougainville, and Green Island In the Nissan Group. Keith was badly wounded
on a straffing run and returned to New Zealand for treatment.
